Vigneron à Bué en Sancerre

François Millet and Monique welcome you on the site of their winery , the François Millet SCEV , located 2 hours from Paris along the Loire.

7th generation of winemakers in Bue , charming small village of Cher (18) which has kept intact its medieval beauty, vine growers, red , rosé and white that won the original (AOC ) in 1936, work 21 hectares of vineyards located in the towns of Sancerre, Bue , Vinon and Vaugues .

Passionate about their work and facing a production that preserves and protects the environment ( growing, without synthetic products or herbicides ) , vintners François Millet and Monique work a vineyard exposed sud-sud/ouest and disposed around the village Bué in Sancerre, a set of two distinct terroirs , whose reputation extends beyond the long borders : "The caillottes " Terroir limestone, very stony representing the largest part of the domain . Clay rates there are not very important. " White Land": Land of clay- calcareous clay with significant rates. Mounds of pebbles found there are fossils dating from the era of cetacean. The term white earth is due to their white color during drying after rainfall .

Visitors welcome on the property can enjoy the cellar red , rosé and white wines that SCEV Millet book (bottles and magnums ) throughout France as well as export.
